Overview of Mercurial Clients

Out of the box, HgLab support all Mercurial clients, starting from hg.exe to TortoiseHg to SourceTree.

Keyring Extension

By default, Mercurial prompts for login and password for each clone, pull or push to a remote repository. Keyring Extension securely saves authentication passwords and then performs authentication behind the scenes.

To enable Keyring Extension in TortoiseHg, go to File - Settings, pick Global Settings - Extensions and check the "mercurial_keyring" checkbox. Next restart all instances of TortoiseHg and you'll be good to go.
